How long will it take to find out if I'm approved for a loan?

In general, you should know whether or not you are approved for a loan within one business day. Make sure that your application was submitted correctly and that you retrieved a confirmation number when it was completed.

Can I take a picture of my check to deposit it?

The Credit Union does offer Mobile Deposits within the TouchBanking app. You must meet certain requirements in order to be eligible for this service, but it is available for all share types. Contact a member service representative to find out if you are eligible!

Where can I find my routing number?

Each financial institution has its own 9 digit routing number. The routing number can be found in the bottom, left-hand corner of your checks. If you are unsure, or do not have checks, feel free to call the Credit Union to speak to a member service representative who can give you the number as well.

How can I better protect my Debit or Credit Card?

KCU offers an app called CardValet that can be used for both Debit and Credit Cards. The app lets you turn your card on and off, set location, merchant, and limit controls, and sends you a notification every time your card is used. The app can be found in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play store and is free to download and use for our members.

How do I sign up for e-statements?

Once you are logged in to your online banking, click on the e-statement tree on the right side of your snapshot view. Make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled and follow the steps to enroll in this service. Once the process is complete you will be routed to the Statement Express website where you will find electronic versions of all future statements after you have enrolled.

Can I transfer funds over the phone to a different account?

Only if your name is on both accounts that you are transferring between. If you request to transfer funds over the phone to an account that your name is not on you will be asked to come into the Credit Union to provide a signature for this transaction.

Do I need to call the Credit Union if I am leaving the state or the country?

It is always wise to alert the Credit Union that you will be using your Credit or Debit Cards outside of the state where you live. The Credit Union will only place a Travel alert on your card when you are leaving the country. This ensures your card can only be used in the country in which you will be traveling. The Credit Union also offers an App called CardValet that can be used for both your Credit and Debit cards, nationally and internationally. With CardValet you can set Location Controls for your cards. CardValet can be found in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
